About Our Free QR Generator
Last updated: September 5, 2026
qrlama is a free QR code generator for websites, Wi-Fi logins, contact cards, emails, phone numbers, SMS, locations, events, and payment links — styled with your own colors and an optional center logo, with no watermark added.
Why it exists
Most QR generators either bury the free tier behind a watermark or a paywall, or hand your data to a server before showing you a code. qrlama renders every code directly in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you explicitly choose to save it to an account.
Every type in one place
Rather than one generic generator, each QR type gets its own dedicated tool tuned to what it needs — a network name and password for Wi-Fi, start and end times for a calendar event, a provider and amount for a payment link, and so on:
- Website — any URL
- Wi-Fi — network name, password, and security type
- Contact card — name, phone, email, and organization
- Email, Phone, and SMS — pre-filled and ready to send
- Location — a map coordinate with an optional label
- Event — adds straight to a calendar app
- Payment — PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Bitcoin
- Plain text — any message
How it works
- Pick a type and fill in the details — a live preview updates as you type.
- Set a foreground and background color, and drop in a center logo if you want one.
- Download as PNG or SVG, or save it to your account to edit later.
What's optional
You never need an account to generate, style, or download a code. If you'd like to come back and edit a code later, or keep a small library of the codes you've made, signing in (by email, magic link, or Google) lets you save codes to My Codes and pick up where you left off.
Bulk generation
Need more than one code at a time? The Bulk generator turns a CSV of up to 500 rows into a ZIP of ready-to-print codes in one pass — see the step-by-step guide if you're new to it.
